Recipe: Shred Salad

Here is a Quick & Healthy recipe to fuel and support any number of “shredworthy” activities. In a large,
re-useable container, combine:
  • 4 Cups of Leafy Romaine Lettuce
  • 2 Cups of Baby Spinach
  • 1 Cup of Shredded Carrots
  • 2 Medium sized handfuls of sliced/Unsalted Almonds
  • 12 oz. drained, canned Chicken Breast (or ready to eat Rotisserie Chicken Breast from the grocery)
  • Drizzle in 1-2TBS of Olive Oil
  • Mix all ingredients
  • A squeeze of fresh Lemon
  • Add a dash of both Black Pepper and Sea Salt
  • Enjoy your Shred Fuel!

No, you don’t need salad dressing. This is a simple to make dish that provides balance with fresh salad greens, healthy fats and muscle-building protein. Eat half, save half for later…Pow!
