Wednesday Words of Health Wisdom

Your health is quite simply all you have, so don’t take it for granted. Last week, I was very sick. I missed some workouts and a long-awaited bike riding session with my buddies. It was not fun getting texts from them while they were having fun, riding and learning new tricks without me.

As the week progressed, I started feeling better and went Snowboarding in the mountains. On the chair-lift up the mountain, It kind of hit home at how precious and fragile good health really is. I felt so privileged to be feeling better and participating in an activity that I am so passionate about. There is no better feeling than participating in activities and endeavors that you are truly passionate about. It is for that reason I work so hard on my conditioning and nutrition…I want to do the things I love to do for as long as I can!

I want the same for you, so quit taking your health for granted, get out in this big world and get involved. If you have ever wanted to climb a mountain, swim the English Channel, run a marathon or simply enjoy a quiet, healthy lifestyle…get out there and make it happen.

Seek individuals that can teach you the basics, you can take over from there! Don’t wait for people to hold your hand, learn the basics and then follow your own path to the lifestyle you envision.

The ancient problem of people having difficulty putting words into action is never-ending. However, making the decision to push past any obstacle thrown your way will always overcome this common roadblock. That type of determination for success is never-ending as well!
